Fudgy White Chocolate Walnut Blondies
Are you team blondies or team brownies? I have to admit, I am normally team brownies (my Fudgy Cadbury Mini Egg Brownies are the BEST!). However, I do still love a good fudgy blondie and my fudgy white chocolate walnut blondies check all those boxes. They are also the perfect way to celebrate National Blonde Brownie Day which just happens to be today, January 22nd.
White chocolate walnut blondie ingredients
At first glance you might assume that a blondie is just a brownie without the chocolate. While the two do share a lot of similar ingredients, there is a bigger difference than just chocolate. The biggest difference between blondies and brownies is the sugar. Most brownies use granulated sugar where blondies are made with brown sugar. The brown sugar helps give the blondies their distinct butterscotch flavor.
- Melted butter
- Brown sugar
- Eggs
- Vanilla extract
- All purpose flour
- Baking powder
- Salt
- White chocolate chips
- Walnuts
