Description

This easy buttercream is made with fresh strawberries and yields around 2 1/2 cups. Enough for two dozen cupcakes or a single layer 9" cake.

Ingredients
  • 1 cup butter (room temperature)
  • 4 cups powdered sugar
  • 1/3 cup fresh strawberries (pureed)
Instructions
  1. Add butter to a large bowl and beat until smooth

  2. Add powdered sugar and 1/4 of the strawberry puree and beat until combined

  3. Add remaining strawberry puree a little at a time until desired consistency is reached
