Description

These easy apple cinnamon pancakes can be on your breakfast table in 20 minutes. They are light and fluffy and require no special ingredients

Ingredients
  • 3/4 cups whole milk
  • 1 tablespoon white vinegar
  • 1 cup all purpose flour
  • 1/4 cup granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon baking powder
  • 1/2 teaspoon baking soda
  • 1 teaspoon cinnamon
  • 3 tablespoons butter (melted)
  • 1 large egg (lightly beaten)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
  • 1/2 large Granny Smith apple (peeled and diced)
Instructions
  1. Add vinegar to milk and set aside

  2. In a large bowl whisk together flour, baking powder, baking soda and cinnamon 

  3. In another bowl combine butter, egg, vanilla and soured milk mixture

  4. Add wet ingredients to dry ingredients and stir to combine

  5. Fold in peeled and diced apples

  6. Place 1/4 cup piles of batter on greased, pre-heated skillet. Once bubbles appear on the surface flip the pancakes to finish cooking
